Why help coral reefs?

I first fell in love with corals in 2018 when I traveled to Key Largo, Florida to work with the Coral Restoration Foundation. I was able to spend a week studying the Florida reefs, working in their coral nursery, and planting Acropora spp. back onto the local reefs. It was amazing to see all the corals they had previously planted back onto the reefs and see the growth. You could really tell their work was making a large difference. I had so much fun with CRF that I traveled back in 2021 for another week of coral fun! I believe in CRF's mission and that is why 10% of my profit is donated to help their work.
